Let's try a new blog for a new year.
So, I've made a new facebook friend, Michael Rectenwald, a clinical professor at NYU. Apparently, he is suing NYU for defamation. That's fascinating. Apparently, he called out what he perceived as SJW tendencies of his colleagues on a twitter account. Then, a letter circulated around NYU saying how awful he was.
What a mess. He seems like an incredibly smart guy. I wonder how this lawsuit is going to go.

I don't know him very well. He does not seem very alt right to me. I don't speak for him in any way. He seems like a classical liberal. I do know (from experience in graduate school and after) that these urban humanities departments can get very, very PC. From that position on the extreme left wing, even liberals get denounced as as fascists. Thanks for your comment.
